This catalog lists every research compound PrimeGen Co. holds in finished, vialled form, grouped by the research area it is most often studied in and filterable by strength, price and discipline. Each listing is a specific fill weight rather than a generic compound entry, because a 5 mg vial and a 10 mg vial have separate lot histories and separate analytical records.

Individual product pages carry the full specification for that presentation: sequence and molecular weight where published, fill weight, physical form, storage and reconstitution notes, the release specification and the reported purity for the current lot. Lot-matched analytical documentation is published separately on the certificates of analysis page, indexed by lot number so a document can be matched to the vial in hand.

How the PrimeGen research catalogue is organised

The catalogue lists every compound we hold in finished, vialled form, grouped by the research area it is most often used in rather than by chemical class alone. A single peptide frequently appears in more than one area — a growth hormone secretagogue studied for tissue repair belongs as much to recovery work as it does to endocrine research — so the filters are additive rather than exclusive. Selecting a research area narrows the grid without hiding the rest of the index, and the full alphabetical listing at the foot of the page always shows the complete range.

Each entry is a specific fill weight, not a generic compound page. A 5 mg vial and a 10 mg vial of the same peptide have different lot histories, different certificates and different unit economics, so they are catalogued separately and each carries its own monograph, analytical summary and price. That structure keeps documentation unambiguous: the certificate you read on a product page belongs to the exact presentation you are ordering.

Availability shown against each item reflects finished inventory in our Chase City, Virginia facility. Items marked as limited are held in smaller quantities and are typically replenished on a synthesis cycle rather than continuously, which is why occasional strengths move in and out of the grid.

Reading a product listing before you order

Three figures on each card matter most when comparing suppliers. The fill weight is the nominal mass of lyophilized peptide in the vial; the purity figure is chromatographic purity by reverse-phase HPLC for the current released lot; and the price is per vial, not per kit or per milligram, so cross-supplier comparisons need to be normalised before they mean anything. A cheaper vial at half the fill weight is not a cheaper compound.

Purity alone is also an incomplete picture. Reverse-phase HPLC reports how much of the integrated peak area corresponds to the target peak, but it cannot by itself prove that the peak is the intended sequence. That is why every lot is additionally confirmed by mass spectrometry at an independent laboratory, and why the certificate for each lot reports both. When you are assessing a supplier, ask which of the two they actually perform and whether the document you are shown belongs to the lot you will receive.

Finally, check the presentation. All material here is supplied lyophilized in sealed USP Type I borosilicate vials, sealed under inert gas, with no diluent, no needles and no reconstitution performed at our end. Laboratories choose their own diluent and concentration to suit the protocol.

Ordering, handling and compliance

Orders ship within the United States only, dispatched directly from our own facility rather than drop-shipped from an overseas synthesis partner. Orders are processed and shipped within ten to twelve business days, and tracking information is provided after the order has shipped. Lyophilized peptide is stable across that window at ambient temperature, so shipments travel in a rigid protective insert rather than a cold chain; on arrival, move vials to their long-term storage temperature promptly.

All material is supplied strictly for laboratory research by qualified personnel. It is not a medicine, a supplement, a food or a cosmetic, it holds no approval for human or veterinary administration, and it must be handled under the purchasing institution's own safety and waste procedures. Research materials are non-returnable once dispatched because storage conditions and chain of custody cannot be verified after a vial leaves the facility; damaged shipments and documentation discrepancies are resolved directly with laboratory support.

Fill weights, concentration and planning a purchase

Choosing between a 2 mg, 5 mg and 10 mg presentation is a planning decision rather than a pricing one. The controlling factor is how much material a laboratory can realistically consume once a vial is opened and reconstituted, because a dry vial is stable for a long period while a working solution is not. Buying a larger fill to lower the unit cost and then discarding half of it after repeated freeze-thaw cycling is a false economy that also introduces variability between replicates.

Converting a fill weight into a concentration needs the net peptide content rather than the number printed on the label. Lyophilized peptide carries counter-ion — typically acetate or trifluoroacetate from the purification step — plus residual moisture, so a nominal 10 mg vial contains somewhat less than 10 mg of peptide by mass. Certificates report the figures needed to make that correction, and laboratories working to a defined molarity should always start there rather than from the nominal fill.

For studies that will run across several months, plan the whole series against one release. Ordering the full quantity at once keeps every vial on the same lot code, the same certificate and the same impurity profile, which removes batch as a confounding variable and makes the results comparable end to end. Where several compounds run in parallel, a lot matched kit does the same job across sequences.

Comparing suppliers on evidence rather than on claims

Peptide supply is an unusually opaque market, and most of the differences between vendors are invisible on a product grid. Two listings can show the same sequence, the same nominal fill weight and a similar purity figure while representing entirely different levels of assurance. The distinguishing factor is almost never the number printed on the page — it is whether that number is traceable to an independent analysis of the lot in the vial you receive.

A useful evaluation is short. Ask whether the certificate is lot specific or generic; whether the testing laboratory is named and independent of the seller; whether both purity and identity were determined, and by which methods; whether net peptide content is reported alongside gross fill weight; and whether raw chromatograms and spectra can be supplied on request rather than only a summary page. A supplier that can answer all five without hesitation is operating a real quality programme. One that answers none is reselling material it has not characterised.

The same discipline applies to consistency over time. A single good certificate proves one lot was good. What matters for a study running across months is whether the supplier re-tests every synthesis cycle and publishes the result, so that a repeat order is not quietly a different grade of material.
