What you agree to when ordering

The conditions that apply when you browse this site or purchase materials from PrimeGen Co.

Research use only

All materials supplied by PrimeGen Co. are sold strictly for laboratory research use. They are not drugs, foods, cosmetics, or medical devices, and must not be used for human or veterinary diagnostic or therapeutic purposes.

By placing an order you confirm you are a qualified researcher or an authorised representative of a research organisation, and that you will handle, store, and dispose of the material in line with applicable law and institutional safety policy.

For the regulatory background these terms rest on — how research chemicals are classified and what research-use-only supply obliges both parties to do — see the Legal & Regulatory hub in the Knowledge Center.

Orders and acceptance

An order is an offer to purchase. We may decline or cancel an order where a compound is unavailable, where documentation requirements are unmet, or where supply would be unlawful in the destination jurisdiction.

A contract is formed only when we confirm dispatch of your order.

Pricing and payment

Prices are shown in USD and exclude taxes, duties, and delivery unless stated. Payment is taken at checkout through our payment processor.

We may correct pricing errors before dispatch and will contact you if a correction affects your order.

Shipping and risk

  • Orders are prepared and dispatched through our secure laboratory workflow; orders are processed and shipped within 10–12 business days.
  • Timelines are estimates and may vary with carrier operations, weather, customs, or holidays.
  • Risk passes on delivery to the address you provide — please confirm it is accurate before ordering.
  • Duties and import fees assessed by local authorities are the responsibility of the recipient.

Returns policy

All sales are final. Because research compounds are sensitive materials, we do not accept returns or exchanges for any reason, including change of mind.

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or fails to meet the purity stated on its certificate of analysis, contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will replace the affected vials or issue a refund where replacement is not possible.

Documentation and specifications

Specifications, purity figures, and images are indicative of the product line; the certificate of analysis for your specific lot is the authoritative record.

Digital COAs are available on request. Product line details may change between lots as analytical methods improve.

Site use and intellectual property

Site content — including copy, monographs, imagery, and branding — belongs to PrimeGen Co. and may not be reproduced commercially without permission.

You agree not to misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, scrape it at volume, or submit false information when ordering.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PrimeGen Co. is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the materials. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Who may purchase, and on what basis

Ordering from PrimeGen Co. requires that you are at least 18 years old, that you are purchasing on behalf of a laboratory, institution, company or research project rather than for personal consumption, and that you are competent to handle non-sterile laboratory chemicals under your own organisation's safety, storage and waste procedures. Placing an order is a representation that all three are true, and we may decline or cancel any order where they appear not to be.

Nothing supplied here is a medicine, a dietary supplement, a food, a cosmetic or a veterinary product. No compound in the catalogue holds marketing approval for administration to humans or animals in any jurisdiction, and no material, documentation, guide or support conversation should be read as encouragement, instruction or authorisation to administer it. Where an intended use is described to us that falls outside laboratory research, we will refuse the order.

You remain responsible for compliance with the laws applicable to you. That includes any institutional approval your organisation requires, any state or local restriction on possession of a particular substance, any controlled-substance rule that applies to your setting, and any onward transfer of material to a third party. We ship within the United States only and do not export, arrange export, or supply documentation intended to support export.

Scope and limits of the analytical documentation

Certificates of analysis are issued digitally against a specific released lot and describe the results of the tests actually performed on that lot: chromatographic purity by reverse-phase HPLC and identity confirmation by mass spectrometry at an independent laboratory. They are supplied as a record of those tests and nothing further.

They are expressly not a statement of sterility, endotoxin content, pyrogenicity, biological activity, fitness for any specific assay, or suitability for any application involving a living subject. Analytical figures are method dependent, and a result obtained on our methods may differ from one obtained on yours. Where an experiment depends on a characteristic we do not test for, that characteristic must be verified by the receiving laboratory before use.

Documentation also describes material as released, not as stored. Once a vial leaves our facility, temperature history, light exposure, seal integrity and handling pass to you, and those factors — not the certificate — determine the condition of the material at the point of use.

Changes and governing terms

We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published at the time of your order. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

How these terms sit alongside the research use policy

The conditions on this page govern the commercial relationship — how an order is formed, how it is paid for, when it is dispatched, and where liability sits. The research use policy governs the material itself: what it is, what it is not, and the undertakings accepted by anyone who orders it. Both apply to every order, and neither replaces institutional safety policy or the law of the destination jurisdiction.

Two points are worth restating because they drive most support questions. Sales are final: once a vial leaves the facility, its chain of custody and storage conditions can no longer be verified, so research materials are not returnable or exchangeable. That is a documentation constraint rather than a commercial preference, and it is precisely why damaged shipments and any discrepancy between a lot and its certificate are handled directly by laboratory support instead of through a returns process.

The second is the research use undertaking. Everything supplied is a laboratory research chemical, not a drug, supplement, cosmetic or medical device, and it is not approved for human or veterinary use. Ordering confirms that the material will be handled by a qualified researcher within an appropriate setting, and orders that cannot meet that condition are declined.
