Mechanism of action
Described as a positive modulator of hepatocyte growth factor signalling at the c-Met receptor tyrosine kinase, potentiating HGF-dependent dimerisation. In neuronal culture this is associated with increased dendritic spine density and synaptogenesis.

Poorly water-soluble. Literature protocols commonly prepare a concentrated DMSO stock before dilution into aqueous buffer, keeping final solvent concentration below cell-tolerance thresholds.
Stability
