Categories map the catalogue onto the questions researchers are actually working on. Metabolic and incretin research, tissue repair and recovery, cognitive and neuropeptide work, cosmetic and dermal research, immune and thymic peptides, and growth hormone secretagogues each have their own page with the compounds most often studied in that context and an overview of the shared analytical considerations.

A compound can legitimately belong to several areas, and the category structure allows that rather than forcing an artificial single home. The categories are navigational aids; the authoritative technical detail for any individual compound lives on its own monograph page, together with the purity and identity documentation for its current lot.

What every category shares

Regardless of research area, the supply standard does not change. Material is synthesised to a defined sequence, assayed in house by reverse-phase HPLC, confirmed independently by HPLC and mass spectrometry, inspected, then filled and sealed under inert gas in USP Type I borosilicate glass. Certificates are lot specific and issued digitally, and shipping is United States only, dispatched directly from our Chase City, Virginia facility with orders processed and shipped within ten to twelve business days.

All compounds across all categories are supplied for laboratory research use only. They are not drugs, supplements, foods or cosmetics, they carry no approval for human or veterinary use, and they must not be administered to humans or animals.

Why mechanism based grouping beats alphabetical browsing

Peptides are grouped here by the biological process they are studied against because that is how research questions are actually framed. A laboratory rarely sets out to buy a 32-residue amidated peptide; it sets out to probe incretin signalling, connective tissue repair, melanocortin receptors or mitochondrial-derived peptide activity, and the shortlist of relevant sequences follows from that. Alphabetical browsing is fine for finding a compound you can already name and close to useless for discovering the one you cannot.

The trade-off is that categories overlap, sometimes heavily. Growth hormone secretagogues appear in both metabolic and repair contexts; copper-binding tripeptides sit across cosmetic and tissue-remodelling work; several immune-modulating sequences are studied in longevity models as well. Rather than forcing a single home for each compound, a sequence is listed in every category where the literature genuinely supports its inclusion, and the category page states what the grouping is based on.

Each category page carries its own scientific overview, the shared handling and storage considerations for that class, and links through to every compound it contains. Where a class has particular quirks — hygroscopic powders, unusual solubility behaviour, or sensitivity to freeze-thaw cycling — that is noted at the category level so it is not buried inside a single product page.
