Matrix remodeling and pigmentation research peptides.
This category groups peptides studied in dermal matrix biology, keratinocyte and fibroblast models, and pigmentation pathways. The two dominant mechanisms are copper-dependent matrix signalling and melanocortin receptor activity.
Material is supplied for laboratory research only. These are not cosmetics, not topical products and not approved for human use in any form.

GHK-Cu is the copper(II) complex of glycyl-histidyl-lysine and is among the most studied peptides in dermal matrix research, associated in in vitro work with collagen and glycosaminoglycan expression and metalloproteinase regulation. The copper is integral to the species, not an additive.
This matters practically. Buffers containing EDTA or other chelators will strip the copper and leave the free tripeptide, which is a different molecule with different behaviour. Where a chelator is unavoidable in downstream steps, the copper species should be verified analytically rather than assumed.
Melanotan II acts across melanocortin receptor subtypes including MC1R, the receptor central to melanogenesis research. It is a cyclic lactam and is photosensitive in solution, so amber or foil-protected storage is standard.
Dermal-model work commonly uses primary fibroblast or keratinocyte culture, where serum components in the medium can bind copper and confound copper-peptide studies. Serum-reduced conditions with an explicit copper control are the usual way around this.
