Who we are

PrimeGen Co. is a research supply company serving academic groups, contract research organisations, and private research facilities across the United States. Our team comes from analytical chemistry, quality assurance, and laboratory logistics backgrounds, and the business was built around one recurring frustration: research buyers routinely receive material they cannot trace back to a test result.

We are a distributor, not a manufacturer. We do not run a synthesis suite and we do not claim to. What we do is select production partners, verify what they send us through independent analytical laboratories, and publish the resulting data openly so a researcher can decide for themselves whether a lot meets their specification.

We make no therapeutic claims of any kind. Every compound listed on this site is supplied strictly for in vitro and laboratory research use by qualified professionals, and nothing here is a drug, supplement, cosmetic, or food.

How compounds reach our catalog

Sequences are produced by our manufacturing partners using solid-phase peptide synthesis, purified by preparative reverse-phase HPLC, and lyophilised before vialling under crimp seal. Lyophilisation removes the free water that drives hydrolysis and deamidation, which is why a correctly stored powder is dramatically more stable than the same peptide in solution.

Before a compound is listed, we sample the incoming material and submit it to an independent analytical laboratory. Only material that returns an acceptable purity figure and a mass consistent with the theoretical molecular weight is released into the catalog. Material that does not is not repriced or rebadged — it is rejected.

Independent verification, published openly

Third-party testing is the part of this business we refuse to compromise on. Purity claimed without a named method and a visible chromatogram is an assertion, not a measurement — so every certificate we publish states the testing laboratory, the analytical method, the purity figure with its integration window, and the observed molecular mass against the theoretical value.

Certificates are available for browsing before you buy rather than supplied after the fact. If a report for a specific batch is not yet posted, it is available digitally on request; we do not ship printed certificates in the box.

Shipped from southern Virginia

Every order leaves our facility in southern Virginia. There is no overseas transit leg, no customs queue, and no repackaging intermediary between the verified lot and your bench — which is both a logistics advantage and a traceability one, because the vial you open is the vial we inspected.

Orders are processed and shipped within 10–12 business days, and shipping is currently available within the United States only, with flat-rate shipping of $5.99 and free shipping above $200. We do not ship internationally, and we cannot ship to freight forwarders or reshipping services.

What we will not do

We will not answer questions about human or veterinary use, publish dosing guidance, or describe outcomes in the second person. Those are the clearest markers of a vendor operating outside research-supply norms, and a supplier willing to bend on them is usually willing to bend on analytics too.

We also will not sell material we cannot document. If a compound is out of testing or a lot is awaiting an independent report, it is marked as such rather than quietly listed as verified.
