Mechanism of action
Adopts an amphipathic alpha-helix in membrane-mimetic environments and disrupts anionic bacterial membranes via a carpet-type mechanism. Host-cell literature additionally describes formyl peptide receptor-like 1 engagement and immunomodulatory chemotactic activity.

Stability
