How orders are processed, packed, and delivered inside the United States.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are processed and shipped within 10–12 business days. Tracking information is provided after the order has shipped, and every shipment leaves directly from our United States facility in southern Virginia.

Do you ship internationally?

No. We ship within the United States only. Orders using an international delivery address, freight forwarder, or reshipping service cannot be accepted and will be refunded.

How much does shipping cost?

Flat-rate shipping is $5.99 and it is free on orders over $200. The cart shows a progress bar so you can see exactly how far you are from free shipping.

Is my order shipped from the United States?

Yes. All inventory is warehoused and dispatched domestically from southern Virginia — no drop-shipping from overseas and no customs delays.

How is my order packaged?

Vials ship in opaque, unbranded outer packaging with protective inserts. Nothing on the exterior identifies the contents or compound names.

What is your reshipment policy?

If a package is lost, delayed beyond 30 days, or arrives damaged, we reship at no cost. Contact support with your order number and photographs of the packaging.

Do you accept returns?

No. Because these are research chemicals whose chain of custody cannot be verified once they leave our facility, all sales are final and no returns are accepted. Damaged or lost shipments are handled under the reshipment policy.

How do I track my order?

Sign in and open your researcher portal, or use the order lookup page with your order number and email. A tracking link is emailed as soon as the label is scanned.

Are your peptides third-party tested?

Yes. Every production lot is submitted to Janoshik Analytical for independent HPLC purity and mass-spectrometry identity confirmation. Reports are published on the certificates page.

What purity level do you guarantee?

We release material at ≥99% HPLC purity for the majority of compounds, with the exact figure for each lot printed on its certificate of analysis. If a lot fails the threshold, it is not released for sale.

How do I access the certificate of analysis for my lot?

Open the certificates page to view or download any published report as a PDF, or open the COA section on the individual product page. Digital reports are available on request; printed copies are not shipped with orders.

What does a Janoshik report actually show?

It shows the analysis date, sample identity confirmed by mass spectrometry, HPLC purity percentage, chromatogram, and the measured peptide content per vial so you can verify the label claim.

Why does a product show "report on request"?

That compound's current lot report has not been published to the public library yet. Contact support with the compound name and we will send the analytical package directly.

What is the difference between purity and peptide content?

Purity is the percentage of the peptide relative to all detected species by HPLC. Peptide content (net peptide) is the actual mass of active peptide in the vial after accounting for water and counter-ions.

How should compounds be stored on arrival?

Keep lyophilized material at -20°C, protected from light. Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, store at 2–8°C and use within the window listed on the product datasheet.

Does shipping without refrigeration damage the peptide?

No. Lyophilized peptides are stable at ambient temperature for several weeks, which is why they are shipped dry. Transfer to a freezer once received.

How do I reconstitute a lyophilized vial?

Add bacteriostatic or sterile water slowly down the inside wall of the vial, never directly onto the powder. Swirl gently until dissolved — do not shake, which can shear the peptide chain.

How long is a reconstituted vial stable?

Most reconstituted peptides remain stable for 21–28 days at 2–8°C. Compound-specific windows are listed in the storage section of each product monograph.

Can I refreeze a reconstituted solution?

Repeated freeze-thaw cycles degrade peptides. If long-term storage is required, aliquot the solution into single-use vials before freezing at -20°C or below.

Why does my vial look like it is empty?

Lyophilized peptide at 2–10 mg forms a thin, near-transparent film or a small puck at the base of the vial. That appearance is normal; verify content against the certificate of analysis.

What do LOT and EXP mean on the label?

LOT identifies the production batch tied to its certificate of analysis, and EXP is the recommended re-test date for the lyophilized powder under proper storage.

What is the difference between CJC-1295 with DAC and without DAC?

The DAC (Drug Affinity Complex) variant binds albumin, extending half-life to roughly 6–8 days in published research models. The non-DAC form (Mod GRF 1-29) has a half-life measured in minutes and is used in pulsatile study designs.

What is a research stack?

A stack is a curated multi-compound set — such as recovery, longevity, or weight-management panels — supplied together at a bundled price for comparative or multi-arm study designs.

Which strength should I select?

Strength selection depends on your protocol's concentration and study duration. Each product page lists molecular weight, vial content, and typical reconstitution volumes so you can calculate concentration precisely.

Do you offer bulk or volume pricing?

Yes. Tiered discounts of 5–20% apply automatically in the cart as quantity increases, and stacks are priced below the sum of their individual vials.

How often do you restock?

Are PrimeGen Co. products intended for human use?

No. All compounds are sold strictly for in vitro laboratory research and are not for human or veterinary consumption, diagnostic, or therapeutic use.

Who is allowed to purchase?

Purchasers must be 18 years or older and must be qualified researchers or institutions acquiring material for legitimate laboratory work. Age verification is required before browsing.

Do you provide dosing or protocol advice?

No. We publish molecular data, mechanism-of-action summaries, and published literature references, but we cannot advise on administration because these compounds are not for human use.

Is a license or institutional affiliation required?

A license is not required for the research compounds we list, but you remain responsible for complying with all federal, state, and institutional regulations governing their possession and use.

Analytical methods & certificates

How purity and identity are measured, and how to read the reports we publish.

What does the purity percentage on a certificate actually measure?

It is an area-percent figure from a reverse-phase HPLC chromatogram: the area under the primary peak divided by the total integrated area, at a stated detection wavelength. It measures chromatographic purity relative to what the method can resolve — it is not a mass balance, and it does not account for counter-ion content, residual solvent, or water.

Why does purity need a named method to be meaningful?

Because integration windows and detection wavelengths change the number. A peptide reported at 99% by an unnamed method tells you nothing about what was integrated or excluded. Every PrimeGen certificate names the laboratory, the method, and the integration conditions behind the figure.

What does mass spectrometry confirm that HPLC cannot?

Identity. HPLC tells you how much of one thing is present; mass spectrometry tells you whether that thing is the sequence it should be. An observed mass matching the theoretical molecular weight within instrument tolerance is the evidence that the correct peptide was synthesised.

Why is the observed mass sometimes slightly different from the theoretical mass?

Peptides commonly ship as acetate or trifluoroacetate salts, and adduct or charge-state assignment shifts the observed value. A small, explainable offset is normal; an unexplained offset of a full residue mass is not.

What is peptide content, and how is it different from purity?

Peptide content is the fraction of the vial mass that is peptide rather than counter-ion, water, or residual salt. A vial can be 99% pure by HPLC and still contain meaningfully less peptide by mass than the label weight — which is why gravimetric concentration calculations should account for it in quantitative work.

Do you test every lot or just the first one?

Independent testing is performed per release. Certificates are tied to the lot they describe, and archived reports for previous release windows are available digitally on request.

Can I verify a certificate independently?

Yes. Each published certificate carries the issuing laboratory's report reference, and the certificates page links out to the laboratory's own verification portal where one is offered.

Why do some compounds show 'testing in progress'?

Because a new release window is with the independent laboratory and the report has not returned. We mark those compounds explicitly rather than displaying an older lot's data as if it were current.

What diluent should be used to reconstitute a lyophilized peptide?

Bacteriostatic water is the common default for multi-draw laboratory work because the benzyl alcohol suppresses microbial growth across repeated punctures; sterile water is used where a preservative would interfere with the endpoint. Lipophilic constructs may need a small co-solvent volume first, followed by aqueous dilution.

Why does a co-solvent need a vehicle control?

Because DMSO, acetic acid, or any other co-solvent has biological activity of its own at non-trivial concentrations. A vehicle-only arm at the identical final co-solvent concentration is the only way to separate compound effect from solvent effect.

How stable are peptides once they are in solution?

Far less stable than the lyophilized powder. Reconstituted material is typically refrigerated at 2–8 °C and used within a short working window; repeated freeze-thaw cycles are avoided by aliquoting at the point of reconstitution. Photosensitive sequences additionally need amber or foil-protected storage.

Does purity requirement depend on the assay?

Yes. A binding assay reading a single receptor endpoint tolerates a different impurity profile than a proteomics workflow where a co-eluting species can be misassigned. Match the purity specification to the sensitivity of the readout rather than defaulting to the highest number available.

Why are copper peptides incompatible with certain buffers?

The copper ion is part of the active species in GHK-Cu, not an additive. Chelators such as EDTA strip it and leave the free tripeptide — chemically a different molecule that will not behave as the copper complex in matrix-biology models.

Are your compounds sterile or endotoxin-tested?

They are released as research-grade material and are not manufactured as sterile pharmaceutical preparations. Where an endotoxin result is available for a lot it appears on that lot's certificate; absence of a result should be read as not tested rather than as a pass.

Can I request a compound that is not in the catalog?

Custom sequences and bulk quantities are handled directly by our team. Send the sequence, the scale, and the analytical documentation your institution requires through the contact page.

How to use these answers alongside the analytical record

Every answer on this page is written to stand on its own, but most of them have a documentary counterpart somewhere else on the site. A statement about purity, for example, is only useful when it can be checked against the certificate belonging to the lot in the vial, and a statement about storage is only useful when read next to the molecular data published in the compound monograph. The questions here are deliberately short; the underlying evidence lives on the certificate, standards and compound pages, and each answer points toward it.

The most common source of confusion is the difference between purity and content. Chromatographic purity, reported by reverse-phase HPLC, describes what proportion of the peptide-related material in the vial is the intended sequence. Content, reported as an assay in milligrams, describes how much peptide is actually present against the nominal fill. A lot can be 99% pure and still contain slightly more or slightly less than the number printed on the label, because lyophilized peptide carries counter-ion and residual moisture. Both figures appear on every certificate for exactly that reason.

Identity is a third and separate question. Mass spectrometry is what confirms that the peak resolved by chromatography really is the sequence claimed rather than a deletion analogue of similar retention behaviour. A supplier reporting purity without identity has answered half the question, which is why the independent reports published here include both methods on every lot.

Questions we are asked before a first order

Two themes dominate first contact. The first is documentation: whether a certificate exists for the exact lot that will ship, whether it names an independent laboratory, and whether raw chromatograms and spectra can be supplied rather than only a summary page. The answer to all three is yes, and the certificate for a listed presentation is published on its compound page before an order is placed rather than produced afterwards on request.

The second theme is planning. Laboratories running a series across several months usually want every replicate on one lot so that batch is not a confounding variable, which means ordering the full quantity at once rather than repeating a small order later.
