Epitalon is a synthetic tetrapeptide bioregulator studied in telomerase expression and pineal signalling research. Reconstitute against the vial wall with bacteriostatic or sterile diluent, swirl rather than shake, and hold reconstituted solution at 2–8 °C for a short working window. Mechanical shear, foaming and repeated freeze-thaw cycling are the three most common avoidable causes of drift between replicate runs.

Each lot in a kit is assayed in house by RP-HPLC and re-tested by an independent laboratory using HPLC and mass spectrometry. Purity is reported as area percent at the primary peak; identity is confirmed by observed mass against theoretical mass. Lot-matched certificates are published digitally and are not enclosed with the shipment.

NAD+ is a cofactor rather than a peptide and is notably hygroscopic. Keep the vial sealed and desiccated until use, reconstitute immediately before the run, and avoid leaving the powder exposed to ambient humidity.
