Why a question hub exists alongside the FAQ page

The main FAQ page answers operational questions about ordering, shipping, payment and policy. This hub does something different: it routes scientific and methodological questions to the guide that answers them properly, because most substantive questions cannot be answered well in a paragraph.

A question like 'why do two suppliers report different purity for the same peptide' has a two-sentence answer and a two-thousand-word answer, and which one is useful depends on what the reader intends to do next. Someone comparing two certificates needs the long version.

Every answer below is a pointer with enough substance to be useful on its own, followed by the guide that treats the topic in full. Where the question is operational rather than scientific, it links to the FAQ page or the relevant policy instead.

The questions that come up most

By volume, documentation questions dominate: what a certificate proves, how to match a lot, why one supplier's number differs from another's. Storage questions come second, usually about whether a warm delivery compromised the material. Terminology questions are third, and almost always resolve to the nomenclature guide.

A smaller but consistent stream concerns the boundary of what we will discuss. We do not provide dosing, administration or protocol guidance, and we do not describe compounds by therapeutic indication. That boundary is a legal one rather than a stylistic preference, and it is explained in the legal and regulatory hub.

Questions about a specific lot are always worth sending. They reach the team that reviews incoming analytics, and a question about a particular certificate is far more answerable than a general one.

Frequently asked questions

Why do two suppliers report different purity for the same peptide?
Because purity is method-dependent. Gradient slope, column chemistry, detection wavelength, injection load and reporting threshold all shift the reported area percentage. Comparing two figures is only meaningful when both method sets are stated.
Can you advise on how to use a compound?
No. All material is supplied for laboratory research use only, and we provide no dosing, administration or protocol guidance of any kind. Our content covers chemistry, analytics, documentation and handling.
My delivery arrived warm. Is the material still good?
Very probably. Sealed lyophilized peptides tolerate ambient temperature for far longer than domestic transit takes, and a short warm excursion contributes only a small fraction of the shelf life. Inspect the seal and the cake; the stability guide explains the reasoning.
How do I know the vial matches the certificate?
The lot number printed on the vial label appears on the published certificate for that batch. If they match, the document describes your material; if they do not, it describes a different lot.
